Mitterand<\/em>, <em>Women&#8217;s Human Rights International Association<\/em>and <em>International Educational Development<\/em>, hosted a parallel event to the 42<sup>nd<\/sup>Regular Session of the United Nations Human Rights Council at the Palais des Nations in Geneva.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>The event aimed to provide a historic oversight and the latest insights into the Iranian regime&#8217;s human rights violations and included direct testimonies from Iranians.The following panelists provided their expert view:<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><strong> GiulioMaria Terzi di Sant&#8217;Agata<\/strong>, Member of the Honorary Presidency of the NRPTT, President of the <em>Global Committee for the Rule of Law \u201cMarco Pannella\u201d<\/em>, former Minister of Foreign Affairs<\/li>\n<li><strong>Alejo Vidal-Quadras<\/strong>, former Vice-President of the European Parliament (1999 \u2013 2014), President of the International Committee <em>In Search of Justice<\/em><\/li>\n<li><strong>Tahar Boumedra<\/strong>, former Director of the Human Rights Office of the United Nations Assistance Mission in Iraq (UNAMI) and expert on the death penalty<\/li>\n<li><strong>Alfred-Maurice de Zayas<\/strong>, former UN Independent Expert on the Promotion of a Democratic and Equitable International Order<\/li>\n<li><strong>Laurence Fehlmann Rielle<\/strong>, Member of the Swiss Federal Parliament<\/li>\n<li><strong>Kirsty Brimelow<\/strong>, QC, British lawyer, specialist in international human rights<\/li>\n<li><strong>Henrik Hermansson<\/strong>, political scientist and human rights researcher<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>The event was moderated by <strong>Hanifeh Khayyeri <\/strong>(<em>Women&#8217;s Human Rights
