The campaign has raised €9.1 billion for people fleeing the Russian invasion and staying in Ukraine or heading to other countries, with €1 billion of this coming from the European Commission. The European Bank for Reconstruction and Development announced an additional loan of €1 billion to cover the needs of people displaced by the invasion.
