Pramila Patten, Special Representative of the Secretary-General on Sexual Violence in Armed Conflict, recalled her recent visit to Ukraine and outlined the elements of a recently signed Framework for Cooperation in Preventing and Responding to Conflict-Related Sexual Violence, which aims to strengthen accountability and combat these abominable crimes.
