The UN Secretary-General has strongly condemned the launch of a ballistic missile by the Democratic People’s Republic of Korea (DPRK) that allegedly flew over Japan. The missile launch was the first to violate Japanese airspace since 2017 and the intermediate-range ballistic missile fell into the Pacific Ocean well away from the mainland.
