The Human Rights Council concludes its forty-seventh regular session after adopting 25 resolutions and 2 decisions

The Council decided to create an international mechanism of independent experts, composed of three experts with expertise in law enforcement and human rights, to be appointed by the President of the Human Rights Council, with the support of the UN High Commissioner for Human Rights, to advance the agenda towards transformative change for racial justice and equality in the context of global law enforcement.
